It’s that time again! Mercury is slowing down and going retrograde on October 4, 2014 and it will be in the zodiac sign of Scorpio. Mercury represents how we interact and communicate with others, and rules computers, schedules, cell phones, and travel schedules. So since it is going retrograde (slowing down\ going backwards) you can expect all things related to this to go haywire. Such things as: Computer crashes, machinery breakdowns, mail being lost, flight delays, and miss communication with others. Also do be aware that information can be hard to receive during this time as mercury retrogrades so it is wise to not make any vital decisions, or sign any important contracts. Be prepared! Before mercury goes retrograde, clean your house, finish old projects, and clear up any old miss communications between you with others because the people in your life whom you need to do that with just might display themselves. This is also a good time for you spiritually and the energy around you. It gives us energy to reflect back on anything we have been suppressing or avoiding and opens our eyes to see things from a new viewpoint. So because of this, we can use it to close any unresolved issues or projects. You can use it to rearrange your life. This is really what it is asking us to do. It is asking us to eliminate things that no longer serve us and re arrange our lives to make way for new things to take their place. Mercury will start to reflect on our deepest secrets and transformative potential, then return back through Libra, where it will accent ideas about our closest relationships, romance, and contractual obligations among other issues. Mercury retrograde will last until October 25, but until then now is a good time to be prepared.
