Embodiments of Love, work alone brings out the true strength in an individual and shows others what one is capable of. Just as a mirror reflects to us our own face, so also the kind of work you do, describes your true qualities like a barometer. This barometer of work has the capacity to assess your condition and the state of your mind and will demonstrate the kind of qualities you possess (tamasik, rajasikorsatwik). Some people appear to be very calm and noble (satwik), but when they undertake work, we may see that, behind the cloak of satwik quality, is present an amount of harshness. Some people appear to be very harsh and cruel in their words, but when they undertake some work, they become soft and kind. Hence never judge others by their external appearance or by words alone. In fact, no test of human qualities is more stringent than the examination of the work one does.
