My boyfriend may have testicular cancer!!!

He has been on strong pain killers and antibiotics also he has quite a few cysts in that area. He has not been getting the help he needs. Fortunately today some things have changed and he is now being seen by the doctor twice a day and the anti bio tics seem to be kicking in and the cysts seem to be getting smaller. He is not in as much pain either. I would love it if someone could please tell me whether this will be a positive outcome and whether he is going to be ok??
