I will answer you from a counselling point of view as this forum is not meant to replace Live-Chat.

You should not put your life on hold for any one person because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

However, whilst you still have feeling for any one particular person, perhaps consider it may not be fair to the other person to involve them in your life because no matter how wonderful he/she is – your heart at present is taken.

Getting on with your life does not necessarily mean you have to start a new romance relationship.

Perhaps consider instead taking up an interest or volunteering in some way for a charity? Just some ideas.
