Overview

Founded in 2006, the BitWine Advisor Network is the premier online destination for anyone who is seeking expert advice. We have recruited professionals from fields as diverse as Nutrition, Travel, Technology, and have made these experts available for face-to-face consultation via computer, right in the comfort of your own home.

BitWine has partnered with the industry-leading Internet video and voice communications company, Skype, and the industry-leading Internet payments company, PayPal, to create a network that is both safe and easy to use.

BitWine offers programs for clients seeking expert advice, professionals and experts looking to share their knowledge, and affiliate websites desiring to give their users immediate access to qualified advisors in the field of their choice.

Management Team

Ronnie Gurion, CEO

Ronnie Gurion joined Bitwine as CEO in 2008. Prior to joining Bitwine, Ronnie led all North American Business Development initiatives for Expedia, the world’s largest online travel agency, where he oversaw the creation of dozens of strategic partnerships for Expedia including those with Wal-Mart, AARP, The New York Times and the NFL.

Prior to Expedia, Ronnie led the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) business development team for AOL where he led the formation of the AIM Certified Partner Program. Prior to AOL, Ronnie worked as a technology investment banker with JP Morgan H&Q and as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen LLP.

Ronnie has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and received a BA from Duke University.



Rob Monster, Chairman of the Board

Robert W. Monster leads Monster Venture Partners (MVP), an early-stage venture capital firm based in Seattle. Previously, Mr. Monster was the Founder of GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), a leading provider of technology-enabled services to the global market research industry. During his tenure as Chairman and CEO, GMI achieved annual revenue growth of 100+% per year and served customers in more than 60 countries.

Prior GMI, Mr. Monster was a global product development manager with Procter & Gamble, leading the development and commercialization of a series of successful new product initiatives throughout Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.

Fluent in English, Dutch, and German, Mr. Monster holds a BS and an MBA, both from Cornell University. A winner of the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Technology and Software (Pacific Northwest).


Elad Baron, President and CTO

Elad Baron co-founded BitWine in 2006. Prior to BitWine, Elad Baron co-founded Whale Communications in 1998 and served as its CEO through 2005. During his tenure at Whale, Mr. Baron innovated SSL VPN technology and was recognized by market analysts as a leader in the space. Prior to founding Whale, Mr. Baron was a co-founder and served as CTO and then CEO of SoftLink, a market leader in secure file transfer solutions.

Previously, Mr. Baron served in the Computers and Communications Corps of the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Mr. Baron received his B.Sc in Computer Engineering Summa Cum Laude from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and is the author of several patents in the Network Security and Internet space.
