Suggestion for multiple callers
| Vor 5 Monate |
Hello! I know I’ve posted a lot of suggestions, but that’s just because I love the BitWine service so much and I’d like to see it succeed! I’d like to suggest that if I am charging one caller for a service that another caller not be able to contact me. Pehaps I could be marked as “Busy” and calls temporarily blocked or appear offline. I ask this because I was chatting with a client who was being charged by the minute and another client called on the chat window. I don’t feel right chatting with a second client on the first client’s dime, but I also think it is rude to be unresponsive to the second client and I feel they’re less likely to call back. |

Hello EarthShod and thanks for your suggestions. Even after you get a call, you can right-click on the orange BitWine guy icon on your sys tray (bottom right corner of your screen) and choose “Busy”. That will mark you as Busy and block users from calling you. |

When I select the “busy” option, it does absolutely nothing on the client end of things. Clients still see me as available with no busy indication and can click to chat with me. |

That was fixed a while ago. They do see a busy sign and the Chat button is grayed out. Give it a try. |

Hey AWESOME! Thanks guys! My only suggestion now is to have it say “Busy” where the “Chat With Me” is greyed out so that clients know that the expert is just busy and isn’t Away or doesn’t have chat disabled permanently. |

A busy icon is shown up in this case, but I agree with you we need to spell it out and say “Busy” as well. We’ll try to add that. Thanks for pointing out. |

It’s rough to try to select “Busy” while talking to a client right away. Today I had two clients contact me at once, one after another. It would be great if, when I’m already on a call, a client was directed to leave a message to ask me for an appointment. It was hard to juggle both of them and I think I put them both off hiring as a result! EDIT: Nuts! It just happened again while I was charging per-minute so I had to reject the incoming call. Since the other client was “anonymous” I’ll never be able to contact him or her again to explain myself or to send an appointment request! It was my bad for not indicating myself as “Busy” when I accepted the previous call, but it sure would be nice if you folks could automate that! |
