Judy Ritsema

I am a Certified Health Coach. I advise people on weight loss, diet, motivation, exercise, nutritional support, maintenance of health, and specific health concerns. I do not select the program for the client. After speaking with client, we arrive at a plan that suits their needs and will get the results they are searching for. This can be accomplished through many resources that I have at my disposal.

I am a Laboratory Technologist and a Certified Health Coach with over 15 years of experience and education, with weight loss, diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and specific health concerns. My coaching education has incorporated a holistic Biblical approach to health, from Jordan’s Rubin’s Biblical Health Institute. This includes mind, body and spirit, along with environment, nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management. I have been on that journey through my own experiences losing 68 pounds, lowering my blood pressure and cholesterol levels. I have written several articles, one of which, recently was published in a magazine regarding kefir and probiotics. I read constantly, and as much on nutrition, weight loss, motivation and exercise as possible. I understand how a person struggles, and what they need to succeed.

I am very passionate about current traditional medicine modalities simply treating symptoms and not finding out what the core problems are when someone is having problems losing weight or becoming healthy. I have helped several people with health issues, including, but not limited to immune system, weight loss, psoriasis, diabetes, and digestive problems, sleep disturbances, building muscle, and dieting, along with teaching motivation and inspiration. My experience has taught me to set up a life plan for each client and that no one diet works for everyone.
