Social Networks in Higher Education

CloseDescription:

I’m glad to advise advancement and admissions officers at colleges and universities on the strategic use of Facebook and other social networks. I’m currently leading Skidmore College’s search for a social-network vendor, and am becoming increasingly familiar with the tools available for creating a college-branded network. With other academic communications officers, I’ve created a group in Facebook, The College Social Media Study, that serves as a resource for those who are trying to establish a social networking strategy for their institutions. You’ll find this group at: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20299145518&ref=nf
