I have been "seeing" since I was a child. Passed on family members and friends would often visit me to give me messages to give others, and I always had the gift of knowing. I have been giving readings, intentionally, for over 10 years, and I have always been accurate. In addition, as an educator, I had a special relationship with my students because I could "see" into their lives and was empathetic/sympathetic to their life experiences even without them having to tell me.
