Professors from Tucson Theological Seminary, Tucson, Arizona. As instructors, our role at Tucson Theological Seminary is that of a minister of the Word first and instructor second. TTS affiliated teaching staff is one of dedicated Christians devoted to spreading the Gospel and teaching of the Word, whether that is through theology, church history or homiletics (preaching). We are not about making Christian careers but about making disciples of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, who in turn can make disciples.

TTS is organized into programs, based on subject. Our instructors are selected on the basis if their expertise in the courses they teach – biblical theology, systematic theology or church history for example. They may instruct undergraduate or graduate students, or both. TTS affiliated instructors teach through online audio lectures followed by a TTS staff faculty who also teache that class. TTS staff instructors may give lectures online, to students in classroom, lead small chat rooms, or supervise students online. They prepare lectures, exercises, and homework; grade exams and papers; and advise and work with students individually. At TTS, they also supervise graduate students’ teaching, research and publication, as well as their own. TTS staff faculty work with an increasingly varied student population made up of growing shares of part-time, working adults, and culturally and denominationally diverse students.
