A-level physics, chemistry and maths help / Study skills advice
I can help you get through your GCSE or A-level physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects. I’m a successful mature student currently going through the learning process and have a conditional offer to study natural sciences at Cambridge in September ‘09.
I work as a learner support assistant, helping students with learning differences overcome problems in class. I can also help you get the most out of your studies, whether you need guidance with revision, learning styles, concept mapping, note making, exam techniques, or need help with project planning.
A-level’s: Physics AS – A, A2 – A (exp); Chemistry AS – A, A2 – A (exp); Mathematics AS – A, A2 – A (exp); Biology Full – C; Computing AS – B. GCSE’s: Mathematics – A; Science – BB; Electronics – B; English – C; Geography – C. City & Guilds: Pascal Programming – L1&2; C++ Programming – L1; ECDL – Essentials.
I have been involved in education for 2 years working as a Learner Support Assistant. My job involves ensuring students with learning differences get the most out of their education programs and entails a lot of reviewing work done in classes. I attend regular training sessions to ensure I can offer accommodate many learning styles and methods. I am particularly good at differentiating for visual and kinesthetic learners.
Prior to returning to education, I worked in many varied industries and obtained much ‘life experience’, all of which made me who I am, but is of little importance to you reading this!
